What does a camp and retreat center for the 21st Century look like?

Thunder Eagle Ridge is not your parents' youth camp.  It is a place that utilizes all the elements of a traditional youth camp, with an emphasis on learning.

It is a place that believes we live in a world community, with ever-changing advancements that youth and adults of today need to keep up with.  It is a place that believes learning should be fun by combining active, outdoor programming and classroom type learning - that when youth expend their energy they will be ready and willing to sit down for a while and learn. It is a place that believes in the 21st Century, everyone can and should be true to themselves and be respectful of the truth of others. It is a place that believes the more we are educated, the easier it will be for us to relate to the people in our diverse population. In the 21st Century we should be ready to embrace the wonderful diversity of our world and learn from it.  It is a place that believes from the richness of this diversity we can ensure all people in our world have the equal opportunity to live a healthy and prosperous life.

Thunder Eagle Ridge Youth Camp & Retreat is a 21st Century youth camp and retreat center that combines education and activity in a natural environment encouraging all who come to take social action, be responsible for their own life, contribute their best by being of service to their family, their community and the world for the betterment of all.
